I have a Msc in architecture, but as I haven't really seen a happy architect in my life, I very quickly escaped from this field.
I consider most of my work still as designing spaces. They are often virtual or small-scale or used for telling a story.
Designing a website, a VR space or an interactive installation needs a very similar mindset as desiging a house. All these spaces have to function, be aesthtically pleasing and affordable, and people need to be able to use them comfortably and safely.
I like creating frameworks where people are kind of directed towards a specific experience but they are also let free to do whatever they want to do. I like thinking in systems, bringing a concept to life considering all the different scales, where all the tiny details should still fit into the higher concept.

I put a few projects here to show how I'm thinking about space.

Space Library
As my master thesis in architecture I designed a building to do nothing.

Antihouse
Antihouse is a VR experience, where the user can be the witness of the first encounter of the architectural space with virtual reality.
Our protagonist is The Space, surrounding us - the viewers. We can hear her thinking, and changing her shape according to her monologue. She discovers her newly earned virtual abilities, and slowly lets go of her analogue constraints, like gravity, statics of materials and feasibility. She rethinks what it means to be inside and outside, what the functions are of architectural elements and what is her relationship with humans in space.
Developed for Oculus Quest.

Life in Plastic
It is an interactive experience which plays with humans trying to act like mannequins in a shop window. What made it very special was the interaction between the people of the streets, the play with who is the observer and who is observed and it gave a spectacular view on the everyday life of the city. I tried to create a space where the visitors feel comfortable and safe enough to be in such a performative situation. You can read about the project more here.
